US and UK using Nintendo Wii in school lesson

As many as 50 elementary schools in Washington DC play Wii Music as part of a lesson that will be received by students, so that students can directly play music, and able to train and hone a sense of art in children.

Of course this program useful, received support from various parties. In fact, there is a suggested way as if this program becomes mandatory in all schools, to be implemented by teachers in music school.

Previously, in the UK also operates a similar policy. Four schools in Worcestershire will play in the Nintendo Wii sports lessons. And if successful, all schools in the UK will implement the same.

However, this project also received the criticism, according to Nick Seaton of the Campaign for Real Education, the students involved in the better serious competition than sports game play. Moreover, the game should not replace actual sports activities.
