To select several files in folder, just hold Ctrl key and click on each file. You will be making busy with a long list or a file that is very much. And if suddenly occurred one click, which caused you to lose all that you choose. You can use a checkbox feature in Vista to void the problems.
You can easily click the checkbox next to each file you want to select. Open a window of any kind (such as Explorer or Computer), click organize menu, and select Folder and Search Options. Then click the View tab, and scroll down until you see “Use check boxes to select itemsâ€. Check the option, and then click OK.
Now, whenever your mouse cursor is located near a file name, a checkbox will appear in the left column. Select a few files, and then drag it to anywhere you want or do any other things you need to do. Also you can click on the column next to the main information Name to select all the files directly (as an alternative from the old way by pressing Ctrl-A).
