Just two weeks ago, Sony Corp. introduced the two Vaio notebooks which built optical Blu-ray, the Vaio NS and CS Vaio. Sony is now back again to introduce a notebook Vaio, which built Blu-ray, namely, the Vaio TT.
Sony states, Vaio TT more special than Vaio NS and Vaio CS because TT is the Vaio notebook Blu-ray most lightweight in the world. In the exposure of Sony, TT Vaio notebook is 11.1 inches, which sailed only once weighing 1.5 kg and high only 1 inch.
Sony is able to cut significant weight notebook Bluray because the Sony Vaio TT use material chassis of carbon-fibre lightweight. Material is commonly used to build cars and Formula 1 racing cars of the sport class.
As general notebook Sony, Vaio TT production platforms were using the Intel Corp. In the TT Vaio, Sony chose the platform Centrino 2, claimed the firm provides high-speed multimedia on the mobile computer.
In the Vaio TT, consumers can also choose the storage media of non-HDD (Hard Disk Drive), the SSD (Solid State Drive), which is faster and more energy efficient. SSD capacity offered by Sony is 256 GB.
Sony notebook aggressive released Blu-ray to increase the popularity of video high-definition Blu-ray. Sony is the main supporting Blu-ray format, which at the beginning of this year won the video format battle against high-definition HD DVD, supported Toshiba Corp.
Sony also competes bitterly with Toshiba notebook market in the upper class. In the market, Sony is known as a beautiful notebooks producer. Toshiba is also known as a respite notebooks manufacturer.
Sony has a reputation for good in the notebook market. However, the new Sony gets bad reputation due to defects in the construction of a number of Vaio models. Sony has admitted receiving 209 incidents around (excessive heat) in the world. In seven cases, the Vaio users suffering light burns.
